Kayaking - Everglades Fish, Kayak and Camp - FLThe 10,000 Islands Region of the Everglades is well known for its fishing, camping and kayaking, so why not combine them for a fantastic vacation! Our top priority on these week-long vacations is catching fish, and kayaks are our mode of transportation to the camping and fishing spots. During the trip our target fish are snook, redfish and sea trout. Most of the time will be spent wade-fishing, but as your kayaking skills develop you'll have the opportunity to try fishing from your kayak. Our four nights on the water will be spent at camping spots on island beaches, and you'll always want to have your rod handy, as you can often see fish cruising the flats from your tent!

Skill Level: Beginner

Departs: Feb, Mar,

Cost: 895

Length: 6

Kayaking / Canoeing - Suwannee River Wilderness Trail - FLThe 170 mile Suwannee River Wilderness Trail begins in White Springs, FL. Here you will find the upper Suwannee narrow and flowing through towering pines and stately cypress that line the river banks and high bluffs. The slow current makes it ideal for beginners to get down the river without having to exhaust themselves. The river widens on the middle stretch, with numerous springs and small shoals adding to its character. Camping along the Suwannee is in new river camps. They have screened in sleeping rooms, complete with a light and ceiling fan. Other amenities include bath houses with flush toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, electric outlets and running water, right next to your campsite! This is a great introduction to camping without needing to "rough it."
