The area is surprisingly remote with superb fishing. Our two day trip covers 24 miles with overnight camping at our own secluded campground at Compton Rapid. Alternating from quiet deep pools to small, easy rapids ensures lots of family fun over the three hours it normally take to paddle. Notable landmarks include the Sudden Ledge and the Old Mill Race. Outfitter grade rafts are also available, but canoes and kayaks are preferable. Bring your bathing suit and your fishing pole for a day of fun and adventure.
