Mothership Outer Penobscot Bay
Departs: May, Jun, Sep, Cost: $1600 Length: 5 days	We're going in style on this trip aboard Wanderbird, a beautifully customized vessel that will bring us and our kayaks to amazing paddling locations that can't be reached easily otherwise! Captains Rick and Karen will take care of all of our meals and amenities while we plan our adventures! Each morning after a hearty and delicious breakfast we will launch our kayaks to explore remote and beautiful areas of the coast and islands that are not usually accessible from shore-based launching sites. We'll explore the nooks and crannies of the islands, picnic on beaches and in the late afternoon we'll meet back aboard the Wanderbird for hot showers, refreshment, a comfortable place to relax and unwind.

Half Day Paddling Adventures

Learn about trip planning, tides and safety as we meander through classic wooden sailboats, visit island beaches, observe marine life in the water and even explore shipwrecks! We'll provide you with top notch equipment and instruction to make your kayaking experience along the coastline and bay islands of historic Castine an experience you'll cherish for a lifetime.. Friday Night Phosphorescent Paddle
Departs: Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Cost: $55 Length: 2 hours	This is a guided evening kayak experience you'll remember for a lifetime! Paddle from Castine Harbor as the sun sets into darkness. Every stroke of your paddle will begin to reveal the bioluminescent dino-flagellates, little glowing creatures, that live among the seaweed in the shallow waters of the ocean. We'll guide you to areas filled with them, where the water literally glows with their light. At times you can even sweep your paddle through the grass rushes where they'll light up like fireflies. Each stroke of your paddle swirls through their glowing lights. Not only will you observe the sparkling lights in the water, your guide will also introduce you to the constellations sparkling in the sky. Absolutely fascinating trip! Fridays.
