Offered during the fall, this trip is designed to raft the Lower section the first day (a great introduction of class III - IV+ rapids) and the Upper the second day (class III V+). New River Gorge Sunset Trip
Skill Level: Age 12 and up Departs: May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Cost: $94.00 and up Length: 1 day	The New River Gorge, located in beautiful South Central West Virginia, is within a six hour drive of a 1/3 of the USA population. Our sunset trip, which starts around 1:00 p.m., allows you to drive in the morning of the trip. After a short bus ride to the river you will raft the Lower New River section, a thousand foot deep canyon and encounter class III – IV rapids. Upon returning to our facility in the early evening, you have time to shower, then enjoy a delicious dining experience at Smokey’s On the Gorge, our open air timber frame restaurant, perched on the rim of the New River Gorge and enjoy the breathtaking sunset.
