You will paddle through beautiful moss covered cypress swamps and across open wet prairies. Water so dark it looks like you are looking into a mirror. You will probably see sandhill cranes, herons, egrets, ibis, and maybe even a wood stork. Nights will be spent on raised wooden platforms or on islands, depending on which trail you choose. Your trip includes guide, equipment, and food. You only bring your personal items. The Okefenokee is a true wilderness experience you do not want to miss.
