Family Orca Waters - Base Camp
Skill Level: Beginner Departs: Jul, Aug, Cost: CAD$1100 Length: 4 Days	A kayak trip specifically tailored to families. Our Family Orca Waters trip involves 3 days of kayaking and 3 nights of camping at our Johnstone Strait Base Camp. We have excellent opportunities to view orcas, dolphins and porpoises both from our kayaks and from shore. In addition to the orcas, this is a great place to paddle with plenty of great scenery and other wildlife like seals, deer, eagles, bears and inter-tidal life (sea stars, anemones, crabs, etc.). We depart our base camp on the morning of the fourth day by water taxi and head to Telegraph Cove where we will visit the "Bones Project" whale interpretative centre. Our guides for our family trips have experience working with children in both educational and outdoor settings.

Choose our 4 day base camp tour situated right in the heart of the orcas traditional territory or decide to join our 6 day Explorer tour that in addition to kayaking the areas favoured by the orcas also explorer the nearby but less traveled channels and islands.
