St. John River
Allagash Guide, Inc. Logo

Skill Level: Beg.-Int.

Departs: May, Jun,

Cost: $750

Length: 7 days

Canoeing - St. John River - METrips on the St. John River will be during the month of June because of falling water levels. We will start at Baker Lake and travel about 120 miles to the town of St. Francis, through beautiful wilderness near the Canadian border. Numerous CLASS I and CLASS II rapids are mixed by quiet beauty and the ever challenging Mother Nature. A great way to end a week of excitement and relaxation. The St. John River is a great canoeing skill river because it has easier rapids at the start, and then more challenging rapids several days down river. Beginners and intermediate canoeists will not be disappointed.
