Passing along the way, you will take Monument Portage, named for having a marker showing the International Boundary of which you will be on both Canadian & American soil. On Topaz, you will have the lake to yourself with only one campsite available. Sit back & relax or go fishing with the smallmouth bass just ready to jump into your canoe. Take day trips to other scenic sites in the area such as Thunder Point Scenic Overlook & Trail, other cliffs or waterfalls just short distances away. No cell phones or neighbors to interrupt this solitude.

Fall into the Boundary Waters

Come paddle the crystal clear lakes, relax underneath the stars on a wilderness campsite and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy a sunny fall day in the BWCA with Voyageur at the end of the Gunflint Trail. Moose call this area home and you will see loons, bald eagles, ducks and more as you paddle the wilderness lakes. A Fisherman’s Dreams Quetico Trip
Departs: May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Length: 3-5 days Not Guided	Take our "Headstart" Launch service right from our dock across Saganaga Lake to Hook Island and paddle a short distance to check in with the Cache Bay Ranger. Here you will be able to get your Canadian Fishing License. Continue through Cache Bay to a breath-taking view of Silver Falls. Proceed north deep into the wilderness until you arrive at Kawnipi Lake. This area along the “Falls Chain” provides the best Smallmouth Bass, Walleye and Northern fishing that fisherman can only dream about. Take a side trip to McEwen for the awesome Lake Trout. On top of the great fishing, you have the peace & solitude to go with it. Set the hook and reel ‘em in. Can’t you hear the fish frying!
