Summary: Mickey Munoz is still one of the icon's of the surfing world. His past surf design knowledge is fully reflected in his own signature model 12'6: Wateryder SUP. His model SUP incorporates all of Mickey's many past surfing experiences into this unbelievable fun SUP. Anyone looking for the ultimate ride, then this SUP board is the one! I started surfing in 1960 and I have to admit that I was reluctant to add a SUP board to my quiver, but once I decided to get a SUP, then the ONLY choice for this old surfer was a Mickey Munoz model. Take my sage advise, demo a Munoz & you'll be a believer too!
Pros: It's the most stable, maneuverable SUP ever. Floatation is great & since your weight is distributed over the whole 12'6" length, this SUP flys over the water. Just a few strokes & you're blowing by others red-lining it! The smooth nose rocker neutralizes any head-on or cross wind chop, so this SUP doesn't slow it down.
Cons: I wish the retail price was cheaper, but in life you have to pay for true craftsmanship!
Usage: I use my Munoz for the across the full spectrum of SUP activities: surf, back tidal creeks, inland ponds & lakes.
