Summary: Actually, I have the Randy French Model, not the Universal, but this is the closest board you have listed to the one I own. It's a wide, stable, great beginner's board.
Pros: Stability and ease of entry to the sport.
Cons: It doesn't work well in waves and is hard to maneuver as it is so wide. . .it's not at all a versatile board.
Usage: exercise and touring, mostly in the harbor or on lakes. It's a great board but not a racing board by any stretch of the imagination.
