Summary: I have the 10'5" AST version. After demoing a bunch of different boards, I settled on this as my first board. A really good all round board as it can surf and paddle relatively easily enough. Plenty of float for a guy my size. (6'3", 230) and very stable. It's a fun shape that I can use in all kinds of conditions.

Pros: Great shape, very stable, plenty of volume for bigger guys, nice nose kick for takeoffs, pin tail offers good maneuverability.
Cons: Very wide (hence the stability and as the name implies) makes it hard to find a surf locker that fits.
Usage: Surf, touring

Summary: Surfs great from small to overhead surf. Surprisingly loose, yet tracks great. I'm thinking of getting the same board in 9'5.

Pros: Surfs great; very stable; catches small bumps with ease; great to put a first timer on as well
Cons: A little corky
Usage: Mostly surf; some touring; many days I paddle several miles checking a number of breaks from Old Mans to Ala Moana Courts (Oahu, south shore)

Summary: My favorite all around board use it mostly for surfing the great lakes but I still grab it for flat water. I weigh 200lb and am 6' 2" and it floats me great.

Pros: Stable, light and fast. Catches a wave with ease.
Cons: have paddled alot of different boards and own 3 and have no complaints about it.
Usage: Surf, flat water, river all around
