Summary: 12.6 and 30", it comes with several choices in surfaces including a set up as hybrid for a sail. his board has an amazing glide, great on flat water, but has the nose and rails for ocean rollers and surf. Pros: The stability of the board and its amazing glide makes you feel like there is great energy distribution without drag. An excellent board to learn on, without the danger of out-growing. I carry a cooler on it for longer tours. It is not as fragile as other boards and the inevitable dings don't send immediate alarms about danger to the core. It can be configured for a sail, and will be perfect for learning. Cons: Weight. Usage: Mostly for touring and exercise on flat water, I have raced it a little against racing boards and faired better than many. I have also brought it to the ocean as an entry way to learn the mechanics of paddle surfing. Submitted by: GML on 2012-09-16
