Summary: Bought the Koa 106 to replace my Bic beginner board and I am completely disappointed. The koa is bigger and higher volume and doesn't paddle as well and it doesn't turn at all on small waves. Quality is much below expectations.
Pros: Decent medium price
Cons: Poor quality, tons of dents after one use
Usage: Small waves

Summary: Great beginner board, very stable and easy to learn on. Also very light for the size, makes transporting a breeze. Good for flat water, maybe in smaller, well-groomed waves. Nice construction, design and graphics. Reasonable cost.
Pros: Stability, price.
Cons: Not suited to performance
Usage: Exercise, touring
