Anse Chastanet Resort, St. Lucia - Nov. 2003

The Ultimate Tropical Destination
The Anse Chastanet resort (pronounced Ahnts-Chas-ten-eh), located in St. Lucia (one of the windward islands in the eastern Caribbean) has all the makings of a tropical paradise. Warm weather, incredible scenery, clear turquoise water, two beautiful beaches, two active coral reefs, kayaking, scuba, snorkeling, sailing, hiking, and jungle biking are just some of the great things the resort has to offer. The Anse Chastanet resort is located on 600 acres of secluded hillside on the southwestern coast of the island. Sharing this incredible space with the guests of just 49 guest rooms allows for a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

The Anse Chastanet resort is located in the steep, mountainous area of the island so the lush green hills create a curtain around the entire property. The two Pitons, large volcanic peaks rising from the edge of the island, create an incredible backdrop. The paddling is incredible with plenty of protected bays to explore and calm water to paddle in. Just paddling near the resort property is amazing and the guided trips offered by the resort take paddlers near the base of the magnificent Pitons.

Anse Chastanet offers something for everyone. For the active vacationer, there is kayaking, scuba, snorkeling, sailing, hiking, and jungle biking available right on the property. For those more interested in doing less, the beach features some very comfortable chairs, friendly staff, and a great snack and drink menu that are all sure to keep you happy all day. After a invigorating paddle or a serious afternoon of relaxing, a stop at the Kai Belte spa which features a variety of ways for you to relax is a must. We highly recommend the hot stone massage as a sure fire way to forget about the stress back at home.

Everyone will enjoy the incredible views, great rooms, gourmet food, and top-notch service.
