Description:
The wood river is a small half-day paddle through a windy river of flat water. There are many wider open areas to explore and almost perfect water conditions. As you start at an access spot about half mile out of Hopkinton the river is slow moving but easily paddled and then it becomes flat and wide open you come across two dams to portage so be ready. There is also a small sluiceway before the take out.
