Description:
Went for an afternoon paddle on the Haw River, the class II/III section. Water level was good, I'm sure it's higher now with the rain we've been having. A few great places to surf a bit... would recommend it for anyone in the Raleigh/Chapel Hill area- it's perfect afternoon paddle. Only 1.5m, but if you play around a bit, it's well worth the drive.
Directions:
US 64 canoe access area, close to where it crosses 15/501. Public access
