Paddled from Hanging Rock State Park to Moratock park in Stokes County, NC.
This used to be a very beautiful spot to paddle.
Now because of Tubbing and Beer drinking it is no longer a pleasant place to go. Beer cans litter the river and the tubbers were so thick it was difficult to paddle through them.
There were several very shallow spots that required walking the river and repositioning the canoe. I am very saddened by the condition of this beautiful run.
