Surprise Lake is certainly a surprise...
The launch area led into dense lilly pad growth which was okay for an adventure. Once in open water it was a bit disappointing to find that the lake ended within fifteen minutes time paddling. So, to get an hour of paddling one had to go round and round and round...
Otherwise it was a pleasant lake area.
I want to find a lake that is a bit longer and better maintained. We will keep searching...
