You can expect seeing some people on the river going in either direction. The current is so slow that you almost think that there isn't one. I typically stir up a lot of fish so if someone wanted to do a little fishing while on the river, they would not leave disappointed.
Most recently, I went up the river till I couldn't move any further and that was because of the current where the river converged. I could have gotten out of the kayak and walked past that point but that is no fun and not really a challenge.
At the point of convergence, you could nicely have a picnic on the shore because there is a beautiful spot where three large trees have fallen and create a clearing.
I enjoy going up the river and plan on spending more time trying to get further up because there is a lot more to explore.
