Blue Ridge Reservoir - Kayak Trip / Canoe Trip

Report Type: Day Trip Report
Trip Dates: April 16, 2011
Nearest City: Payson, AZ
Difficulty: Easy
Submitted by: Arthur Collum

My wife and I paddled on Blue Ridge Reservoir!
The water was cold, as snow was present in shaded areas.

It has got to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Arizona.

One primitive boat ramp.
Camping ground a couple miles away.

From Flagstaff, take Lake Mary Road (Forest Hwy. 3) to the end (through Happy Jack, Clints Well - approx 55 miles) and turn left.
Drive about 6 miles and turn right.
Follow the signs.
