Description:
First time on this river. Launched kayak at Oswego Lake after a short paddle across lake put into the Oswego River and continued to Harrisville Lake. Water level at down stream gauge below Harrisville lake read 2.95. This proved to be more then enough water for the trip down river. The only difficult spot to navigate was entering Harrisville Lake where you need to pick your way though the shallows. Always enjoyable paddling these river in the barren during the early spring and fall as the ever present greenery form the ceders and pines always make for a nice paddle.
