The first few miles are a class 1 with riffles. When the Connequenessing comes in at Rock Point the river gets deeper and flat, this is river you see from the PA turnpike bridge, moterboats can use this part of the river but I have not been rocked by boat wakes.
The take out is almost at Eastville Bridge; Rt 588 another dirt road under the bridge. This paddle takes about 3 hours. No houses can be seen from the river there are steep slopes on both sides. This section of the Beaver river has water enough to paddle even when everything else around is too shallow to paddle.
