I would like to add some additional information to the
report posted already on this location.
I camped at Stone Mountain Park for a week in April 2006 and have to say this is the cleanest campground I've ever stayed at. You could camp in anything from a tent to the biggest RV. I used a canoe while I was there. There is also a free "water taxi" pontoon boat that shuttles campers back and forth from the campsite to the rest of the park.
