Dillon Reservoir - Kayak Trip / Canoe Trip

Report Type: Day Trip Report
Trip Dates: July 6, 2009
Nearest City: Dillon, CO
Difficulty: Easy
Submitted by: George

Description:

The Pyrat Yacht Club (Kayaking Group) had a very relaxing, beautiful day on the lake. During the weekday, the boating traffic is minimal. Kayaking along the shore, and across the lake is not difficult. Take your camera, your sunscreen and don't forget to hydrate... even on the water. Enjoy.
Just another reason why people move to Colorado!

Accommodations:

Lots of shops, hotels rentals. We didn't look into them though. Sorry

Fees:

No fees.

Directions:

From Denver, take I-70 west until you get to the Silverthorne exit. Take that exit, stay to the left and you can't miss it....big lake, boats, blah blah blah.
