Description:
This was our 2nd overnight trip on the Ocklawaha River. This time we took 3 other couples with us. What a gorgeous river and what a great time we had. This river is just so beautiful and so "wild" looking. There are many primitive campsites along the way... you can pick the one you want.
Once again, Joe (from the Ocklawaha River Canoe Outpost) can answer all your questions and give you advice on the best places to camp, depending on the size of your group or how far you want to paddle each day, etc... This was the first time any of our friends have done something like this... we are already planning next year's trip!!
If you haven't been on this river, I highly recommend it. Day or overnight, you will have a great time!!
