Description:
The Chagrin River is now home to a Canoe and Kayak Livery located in Eastlake just off of Erie Road. From here you can rent their boats or bring your own. Rates are very reasonable.
This is an easy day trip suitable for family paddlers or you can take it out on the lake to get a real workout. There are plenty of islands to explore and yacht clubs to wander around.
This area is also rich in wildlife including blue heron, kingfishers, swallows, ducks, deer, turtles and more. Just the other day my kayak was inches away from a fawn hiding in the brush! We were both a little startled to see one another.

Directions:
Go north on Rt 91, turn right (east) on Lakeshore Blvd follow the signs and turn left on Erie Rd. The Livery is the third drive on your right.
