Nearest City: Newtown, CT

Description:

Lake Lillinoah offers a large area to paddle with a variety of of possible routes. We paddled from the Hanover Road launch in Newtown north to the RT 133 bridge a distance of 2.25 miles each way.

On the weekends, you will probably encounter power boats and jetski's so there could be some significant wave activity.

I don't recommend this paddle for the smaller 9-10' Rec. boats.

Accommodations:

Chemical Toilets

Fees:

None

Directions:

Directions: I-84 west to exit 10, turn right, stay on Church hill rd. turn right on Blvd , Blvd becomes Hanover rd. follow 2 mi to launch on right.
