Goose Ponds - Kayak Trip / Canoe Trip
Submitted by: MojoHamuki
Goose pond is a good sized lake. The trip that I take around the border of the lake is 5.4 (appox) in total. Goose pond is made up of two bodies of water. The lower lake and upper lake. The lower lake features beautiful water front houses. On the week day motor boat traffic here is light on the weekend it can be heavier.
The upper lake is the best part, it is a reservation and has undelevoped shorelines. There is an island in the middle of the upper lake. To get to the upper lake you first have to travel on this very small passage way which is really cool.
On the upper lake motor boats can only travel at 5 mph making it a paradise. Most motorboats just go to the upper pond to fish and dont get in the way of your path.
The passage way to the upper pond looks hidden but its there on the right hand side.
Free boat Access point.
