South Beach Fonz Loop - Kayak Trip / Canoe Trip

Description:
This is a full loop that takes you along the intercoastal between Allison Island and 23rd street, then follows the Dade Canal bordering Dade Avenue on Brach all the way to the Venetian Causeway. Waters are protected all this first 7 miles round trip
Paddlers can optionally go into Biscayne Bay and circumnavigate Belle Island and go to the Flagger Monument Island in the middle of the bay. This extends the round trip to 11 miles (approx).
This is a different way to see south beach and the people who actually live in the area on a permanent basis.

There are at east 4 places where you can stop to rest or to have a snack

Parking available on Collins a 46th street or Indiana Creek and 63rd. Short portage to the water
