The scenery is noticeably different on this section of the creek because we are in the city. Obstructions now included a refrigerator, tires and several LP tanks, although I never had to exit to maneuver around them. The current made the paddling easy and I made it to the Frankin St. Bridge in less than two hours. There is a take out at this point that is still under construction, but made the exit pretty easy.
You can see the Ohio River from here, but I stayed on the creek; thatís a trip for another day. I would recommend this section only if the water is up. There is less wildlife on this section and several homeless camps, but also a lot of history that you would not otherwise see.
