Description:

Stayed at the Willows Resort in Charlestown, RI and put in at Foster Cove which is a short paddle into Ninigret Pond. I paddled east along the shore and came to a small cove called Coon Cove. This is very shallow water, but a very cool small cove. Horseshoe crabs scuttling across the cove were way fun to watch. This was an easy paddle along the shore. You can also paddle across Ninigret Pond to hit the Atlantic.
