Birds, Alligators, and More Bell Canoe Works invited a large group of people down to Florida to escape the winter cold. While we didn't totally escape it, the temperature was sure better than Michigan. Canoe Escape was our gracious host for this event and they shared their corner of paradise with us. For some magnificant paddling on some truly beautiful rivers and to see tons of wildlife, look them up. (browsers w/o javascript, please click here) Brent and Brian, of Paddling.net, joined a group of approximately 35 other people just North of Tampa on the Hillsborough River. The group consisted of dealers, writers, photographers, media representatives and several people from Bell Canoe. We did three separate day trips, two of which were on the Hillsborough River and the third on the Chassahowitzka.

Hosted and guided by Canoe Escape. The 2003 Bell Experience brought people from all over the country to Tampa, FL for some canoeing. A great time was had by all!
