Outfitter Photo Kayaking in Darwin's Paradise (Galapagos)
by Explorers' Corner
Imagine paddling at sunrise in a small pod of kayaks, quietly passing dozens of sea turtles bobbing on the surface! Or exploring remote caves and coastlines teeming with wildlife, all best admired from the seat of a kayak. Based on the safe and well-earned reputation we have gained over many years, we have secured specialized sea kayaking permits from the Galapagos National Park authorities, enabling us to paddle in generally unvisited places among the many islands and islets of the Galapagos archipelago. The base for our adventures is a fine, seaworthy and comfortable catamaran accommodating just 12 passengers. Apart from the kayaking there is lots of hiking, snorkeling, swimming, animal watching, and beachcombing to do. See Galapagos without the crowds!

Product Review Spotlight
Ohneka canoe by Placid Boatworks
My wife and I have put a lot of hours and miles on a 16' fiberglass canoe (70+ lbs.) and an 18' tandem polyethylene kayak (92 lbs.) over the past 15 years... In a nutshell; [the Ohneka is] faster and more maneuverable than the canoe and at least as stable-feeling as the kayak. Little or no water on board coming off the paddles. We would have been happy with matching the best features of the trusty canoe and comfortable kayak. What we ended up with was better than matching those features. Rating: 10 of 10 by hoof
