Guidelines - Back-Up Recovery (Roll-Aid)
If your roll doesn't work and you find yourself in a situation where you really don't want to get out of your kayak (wet-exit) there is a device that gives you a chance to right yourself while staying in your kayak. Wayne Horodowich of the University of Sea Kayaking looks at this tool and its usage as a back-up system to your typical recoveries.
