Whitewater Locations (Northern Utah)

Greetings All, I am new to the Salt Lake area and I'm looking at getting into whitewater kayaking. Basically what I want to know is if there are enough places around me to justify me spending $2000 on gear. If not ill just get a fishing kayak and have relaxing summers lol. Any helpful info would be appreciated.

This will give you access to their river database and a lot else of value if you get seriously into whitewater.

I don't recall there being a *lot* of ww in northern Utah, but there is a lot of whitewater not much farther away in almost every direction.
