  Doing science from the canoe

I am about 150 miles into a 1500+ mile canoe trip on the Chattahoochee, Apalachicola, Mobile, Alabama, Coosa, and Etowah Rivers of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. Much of what I have learned about distance paddling I owe to Paddling.net. Besides having a grand adventure, I am conducting water quality research from my Kruger Sea Wind.
