The Pamlico-Tar River Foundation, based in Washington, NC, would like to announce the launch of our brand new Tar-Pamlico River Camping Platform System in Eastern NC. So far, 3 active campsites consisting of 2 raised wooden 16'x32' riverfront camping platforms and 1 tent campsite are available to the public for single (day or overnight trippers) or multi-day (thru paddlers) users.
