The Sunday after Labor Day 275 Canoes, Kayaks, and Guideboats will paddle into Lake Flower in Saranac Lake ending a 90 Mile Trip from Old Forge NY.
There are several scenic paddles in the Lake Placid area; around Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake the possibilities are endless.
