Hey guys, I'm completely new to this forum. I've ran across this site for a while and wandered around looking at some cool information but never made an account. I thought you guys might be interested in a trip I'm doing here in a few weeks. I'll be paddling from Springfield, Mo. to New Orleans by kayak. Originally I conceived this as something I just really wanted to do for myself and my friends kind of encouraged me to do the whole website thing/ post updates as I go so i did that. You can check it out at www.davidkeetz.com really, I'd like to see if anybody here has any last minute suggestions or advice for this. I don't how many people on this forum know the area that I will be in well. I know the rivers pretty well and the lakes for sure but I've never been to the lower half of the white river or the mississippi before. I've done quite a bit of research but I'm sure nothing will prepare me for what's to come.
