on what you're looking for. If you want a two or three day trip the Manitowish is probably best for that; plenty of great campsites along the way and easy portages.http://dnr.wi.gov/forestry/stateforests/sf-nh-al/NH-AL-rec-canoe.htm
The river empties into the Turtle/ Flambeau Flowage which has dozens of campsites available to paddlers. The upper Wisconsin River also has paddle only campsites, for more information on it-http://www.rwtcanoe.com/
The Tomahawk is very pretty but doesn't have camping along it but, it does form the Willow Flowage where there is plenty of camping.
