  Cacapon river gauge

according to the book you want 2 or more feet on the Great Cacapon gauge which is at the end of the river, in order to float the 50 or so miles from Capon Bridge/Hwy 50 on down to the Potomac.

it hasn't been consistently above 2' since the beginning of June, so this is probably best as a Spring trip ,unless you get lucky with a few days of rain.
