I would be interested in reprising the trip some of us have done on the Thursday and/or Friday as a lead-in to the "Halloween weekend" overnight river camping trips run by both the HKCKC and Mohawk clubs in the Pine Barrens.
Both the HKCKC/Mohawk trips will be Sat./Sun., Oct. 26-27, on the Mullica River this year.
My pre-weekend bootleg would be on Thurs. and/or Friday with the Oswego River as the first priority because it is my favorite Pinelands river. Other candidates would be the upper Wading River and the Batsto River. These would be day trips with no gear in the boats. Cheap to free car/tent camping can be found nearby or some people motel it.
If anyone is interested, please let me know as soon as you can by email (gmacgrady at gmail.com). Thanks.

Was thinking about paddling there mid to late November. Did it twice a few years back and camped out, lovely place. Any info on the water levels at this time? Any web sites? Thanks. First time I paddled (tried) using a 17ft poly touring kayak, eek! Next time used my 12 ft pungo :)
