  Ozark Rendezvous Yard Sale
Posted by: on Sep-27-13 12:08 PM (EST)

Do you have any items that you might be bringing to the Rendezvous to offer for sale?

Do you have any items(paddles, tents, boat, buckets, camping gear, etc.) that you are actively seeking, and want to buy?

Clean out those closets, the shed, the garage, the barn, your storage locker. Make a few bucks, and use it to buy more gear. :^)

I have a couple of boats I might be interested in selling. Also several straight & bent shaft paddles.

Time to Rendezvous is getting short!

Bob, a friend of mine is interested in the Probe. I expect he'll contact you soon. He won't be able to make the trip, but if you two work something out Deuce's Delivery Service will handle transport from Pultite.

those individuals are already bought and paid for. Sorry. You'll have to wait til the next "elections", but look on the bright side. Maybe if we save our money we can pool our resources and buy one then.

You can rest assured if I owned a stake in one of those clowns we wouldn't be scratching our heads and trying to figure out what we'll do in a week and a half.

that we have the best government that money can buy. But, who is "we" ?

  Who is we?

Well, in the words of Bob Dylan: "It ain't me babe."

I also doubt it would include any of us other Rendezvousers.

I bet it includes the guy who was able to build his house on the Current River Ozark National Scenic Riverway that pisses off Terry and the rest of us. Betcha the river isn't closed to him!
  I have two DFDs

(Doggy Flotation Devices) that I'll bring if anyone is interested. Copied from another thread:

Both are brand new and have never been wet. The Float Coat is a small. I bought it from Animal Grace and it's too big for our Lhasa. I had ordered an Astral Bird Dog, but they were out and offered to send me the Float Coat for the same price and even expedited shipping so I'd have it for Rendezvous, but of course since it didn't fit it didn't get used. They were so accomodating I hate to send it back, so if anyone wants it I'll take what I paid, $60. They retail for $80. The Bird Dog is an extra small and is just barely too small for Cookie. It's a very comfy vest that will fit a smaller dog really well. It's not quite as nice as the Float Coat IMO, but it's close. I'll take $50 for it. Both very nice vests that will last a long time and serve your four legged paddling buddy well. Hit me up here or call/text five01951eightsix3five.

2 long bars plus feet to fit most vehicle siderails. Doesn't fit the wide bars of Nissan Pathfinder, but Ford Escapes, most Subarus, Dodges, Jeeps, etc. $125

Will they work on a Jeep Liberty? I have the racks on it that came from the factory. The Liberty doesn't have rain gutters like the Cherokee did. I left my old racks on the Cherokee and my daughter drives it now.
  Does It Have Rails?
Posted by: wildernesswebb on Oct-08-13 12:28 AM (EST)
If so, yes. The Liberty's with rails we looked at in the past has the same rails as the Dodge has. It's the older style Yakima Rail Grab system. Takes about 5 minutes on and off. Here's one on E-bay but ours is 78" Bars and in better shape:
