Nashville area - end of Sept

I am going to be in Nashville area at the end of Sept and am looking to find some paddling partners for some day trips within 2hrs drive of Nashville. Can bring either touring kayak for lakes and class 1 rivers or solo canoe for protected (light wind) lakes and up to class II river runs. I could be talked into an overnighter if there is a really special trip.

Depending when I could be convinced to make a short drive. The Red River around Clarksville tn would be a easy drive and nice paddle. the Harpeth and piney would be pretty good to. there is the green river in mammoth cave park that's a reasonable drive to. solo canoe would be fine for any of the rivers.

Had to cancel due to medical issues with my father. I was hoping to get to see you guys at the Ozark Rendevous but the same issues are going to prevent me from getting up there also.

Looking forward to reading the reports and seeing the pictures from the Rendevous.

Thanks for the offer.

Mark

PS - I still think fondly of the paddle down the Eleven Point that you lead. That was my first real moving water trip in my canoe and I had a blast.
