  Paddling trip network needed

There is a network of bike tourists---Warm Showers.org--- who offer lodging, tent space, and other kinds of support to cyclists passing through. I have hosted cyclists and just last week used the website to find a wonderful host for a weekend trip. These have been great experiences.

It would be great to have a similar website for kayak trippers. Could that be done here at pnet? I would gladly host kayakers (at least give them tent space on my lawn and other support) and tell them about the paddling and camping places I know in my area. I would also really like to get to know other areas with local paddlers (Quebec, Ontario, northern Maine). After driving a long distance at the start of a trip it would be good to have a safe place to camp for the first night and to get information from a local person. I would also be interested in guiding (I use that word loosely; I'm not a guide)---visitors and being guided by a local person for camping trips.

Anyone interested in making this happen at pnet? Go here for a model: https://www.warmshowers.org/

Yes, there are undoubtedly safety concerns, but there are other organizations that manage to overcome these.
