Looking for people to paddle with. I am in the Charlotte, NC area but do not know the waterways that well. I have my own kayak (touring).

Launch at Latta Park. It is a good place to paddle and you should meet other paddlers there.

How far out are you wanting to paddle, and in what type of waterways? I'm from Greensboro, but currently in Chesapeake, Va and paddle the Outer Banks areas sometimes. Also doing a river trip on the New River in West Virginia on May 25-May26, about 5 hrs from Charlotte I think, whitewater and wilderness.

Sure... playing on C1 and C2 would be fun. I can only go on the weekends because job and kids. But keep me in mind if you have any get togethers over the weekend.
