Check out the string just below this one. Join 100+ Kayakers at South Bass Island on June 7-9, for a full weekend of paddling and socializing. We'll have paddlers from all long the north coast and beyond.
I would love too- - - however|

It's been a couple years since I have been on the water due to an excessive amount of work amongst other items. Haven't done any camping either.

Sounds like you have some heath hurdles you need to get over before you do much paddling. Just be safe and don't put anyone else in a bad situation, like you mentioned. Come on out for the Rendezvous Pot Luck on June 7th. You'll get to meet lots of paddlers from the region.

Im in Celina, OH which is about 3 hours from Sandusky. I try to get out on Grand lake about once a week before the Algae blooms again.
