The vast majority of the rivers in Missouri are dropping now, after having experienced quite dramatic rises, due to the heavy rain we have received in the last few weeks.
The Eleven Point is probably getting down close to normal, or will be in the next week; unless the area receives additional rain.
There is the liklihood the river is currently a bit muddy; due to runoff from feeder creeks, springs, and streams.
There is also the liklihood that Mary Decker & the river may have a couple of new strainers(that will require some caution) because of the river's recent rise.
I can not address the quality of fishing; I do not fish.
Campgrounds on the Eleven Point are rustic, at best, and are quite often trashed. They receive very little, if any care, and are often abused by groups of "river dorks"(drunks).
Avoid Stinking Pond campground like the plague. It does stink, and it is infested with bugs. I have never found another place in Missouri where I saw more Copperheads.
Cell phone coverage is virtually non existent on the Eleven Point.
Local drunks & shit disturbers like to cruise the Greer access & on occasion the campground on friday & saturday nights; trolling for something to steal or vandalize.
