A tip that might help decide exploring bodies of h2o, with access to computer, using google earth, download free version, or contact Adveture outfitters,see what they recommend. checking out google earth doesn't look too promising for that lake. I recommend Otis reservoir, 5 buck to park, but well worth it. rent a camp spot at the state park and have fun.
