Ann Arbor/Brighton MI - Kayak Buddy?
Posted by: Dec-El on Mar-03-13 8:09 AM (EST)

Looking for a kayak buddy / group in the Ann Arbor / Brighton MI area. I am getting back into the yak after 20 years. Interested in coming with you and learning the ropes again. I have my own kayak/gear. Inland lakes and slow rivers only. I am NOT looking for a hook-up/date. Married, mid 30's, male. -Ryan

Come out to South Bass Island on June 7-9 and you'll meet a 100 kayaking friends at the South Bass Island Kayak Rendezvous. There is a big group of us to the south in Toledo through the Toledo River Gang, look us up on Facebook. I know there is a group of SE Michigan paddlers who get together at EMU for pool work and rolling. Not sure of the name.

GLP looks appropriate for me. One person sent me an email inviting me out too. Thanks again.
